The trail does continue just over a mile past the overlook and interpretive sign, but it is very steep down to the lake. Today we finally drove the Going-to-the-Sun-Road to Logan Pass Visitor Center and hiked the most popular trail in the park - the Hidden Lake Overlook Trail. Boardwalk all the way but steep to begin with! The trail was closed at the overlook due to recent bear sightings, so we weren't able to continue to the lake (Oct3).
